Westcom Group (WA) Pty Ltd T/A Vitelergy Services is a Malaga based turnkey organisation offering civil construction, rigging and technician capabilities to clientele in the telecommunications sector

We are seeking experienced Telecommunications Field Technicians with strong 4G-LTE 5G equipment installation, integration, commissioning, and troubleshooting skills to join our growing and existing crews for metro, regional and mine projects.

These positions are Perth based with travel required to projects so you will need flexibility to travel and work weekends when needed. 

As a Telecommunications Field Technician, the candidate will carry out specialised design and support functions in telecommunications engineering including optimisation and performance monitoring of telecommunications networks, diagnosis and repair of faults, and selection and installation of equipment.

 
We seek candidates with the following experience:

• Diploma or above qualification or at least three years of relevant experience.

• Provision of technical advice, information and monitoring the performance of complex telecommunications networks and equipment.

• Planning and assisting with the development of customer access telecommunications network infrastructure.

• Liaising with essential providers and stakeholders, including external resources and monitoring obligations and performance delivery.

• Provision of ongoing support in design, optimisation, troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and resolving of telecommunications network performance malfunctions, defects and faults.

• Installing, maintaining, repairing, and diagnosing malfunctions of telecommunications networks.

• Configuring and integrating network and telecommunications technology with computer and other associated operating systems.

• Developing and recording logs of details, locations and inventories and maintaining the documentation of policies, procedures, guidelines and regulations, and quality standards that apply to your work.

 

Ideally you will have the following tickets and licenses:

• Australian driver's license

• White card

• RADHAZ Awareness

• Working at heights

• First Aid & CPR

 

These positions are with immediate start.
