Currently seeking a HSEQ Representative for an infrastructure provider who has been operating for over 20 years. The position is a permanent position with an immediate start. There are ongoing projects in the mining, construction, and telecommunications sector state-wide and we are looking for the right person to join our group based in Malaga.

What you need:

• Certificate IV in Training and Assessment

• Current first aid certificate

• 5 + years working in a HSEQ position

• Experience working with in the construction industry

• Knowledge of AS/NZ 4801/ISO9001 and experience with its implementation and compliance auditing.

• Knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations and codes of practice relating to telecommunication and non-build construction.

Desirable:

• Certificate IV in Frontline Management

• Bachelor or post graduate degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related discipline Key duties:

• Develop and lead a positive safety culture across the group

• Ensure the group HSEQ management system is implemented across project sires and adheres to federal and state OHS legislation and regulations

• Develop, monitor and review the groups HSEQ and training policies, systems and procedures.

• Ensure competency and training records for all personnel are maintained

• Work closely with management to implement specific HSEQ strategies as required by the group.

• Conduct HSEQ inspections of the groups sites

• Ensure all KPI's are achieved

• Maintain positive relationships with the group clients through adherence to their processes

• Manage the groups workers compensation arrangements and associated workplace rehabilitation programs
