Xcell is seeking automotive trades people to join one of our clients as a Motor Assessor. You will play a crucial role in evaluating and assessing motor vehicle damages to determine the extent of loss covered under insurance policies. You will be responsible for conducting thorough inspections, analyzing repair estimates, and providing accurate assessments to facilitate fair and efficient claims processing. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of automotive repair processes, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients and repair professionals.
Duties:

Inspect damaged vehicles to assess the extent of damage.

Document and photograph the damage to provide a comprehensive report.

Calculate the cost of repairs needed to restore the vehicle to its pre-damaged condition.

Consider labour, parts, and other associated costs in the estimation.

Review insurance claims related to vehicle damage.

Verify policy details and coverage to determine the extent of financial responsibility.

Communicate with vehicle owners, repair shops, and insurance companies to gather information.

Explain assessment findings and repair cost estimates to various stakeholders.

Prepare detailed reports outlining the assessment findings, repair estimates, and other relevant information.

Ensure accuracy and clarity in reporting.

Negotiate repair costs with repair shops and service providers.

Work towards fair and reasonable settlements.

Enter assessment details, repair cost estimates, and other relevant information into databases or computer systems.
Requirements:

A automotive trade qualification certificate 3 or higher
